lovers-waterproof-throw
XR Lover's Waterproof Throw Blanket – Black

The XR Lover's Waterproof Throw is a soft blanket with a waterproof layer, made to go between you and whatever you'd rather keep dry. Lay it over a bed, sofa, chair or floor before play, and lube, massage oil, squirting or spilled drinks stay on the blanket instead of soaking into the mattress or cushions. Afterward, it goes in the washing machine.

What it's like

At 55 by 75 inches, it's large enough to cover most of a double bed's sleeping area or a three-seat sofa. The top is plush and velvety rather than crinkly, so it doesn't feel like lying on a plastic sheet. The materials are polyester and rubber; the rubber layer is what keeps moisture from passing through.

Where to use it

The obvious place is the bed, but it earns its keep elsewhere too. Throw it over the sofa for a spontaneous evening, on the floor in front of a fire, or over a hotel bed when travelling, since it folds up for packing. It's also handy under a sex wedge or ramp, keeping the foam covers clean.

Good fit or not?

The throw earns its place for anyone who squirts, uses a lot of lube or oil, or enjoys massage and messy play. It's a throw rather than a fitted sheet, so it can shift during very energetic sex. If you want something that stays put on the mattress, a fitted waterproof sheet does that job better. For positioning support, look at our sex wedges and ramps.

Washing

Machine wash on cold, then tumble dry on low or line dry. Low heat keeps the velvety surface soft and protects the waterproof layer. Skip fabric softener, which can coat the fibres.

Specifications

Brand: XR

Type: waterproof throw blanket

Size: 55 x 75 in

Material: polyester and rubber

Care: machine wash cold; tumble dry low or line dry

Colour: black

Pair it with the XR Lover's Bed Restraint System, or browse our sex furniture.
