Is the melted oil too hot?
Massage candles are designed to melt into warm, not hot, oil, but always blow the candle out first and test a few drops on your wrist before pouring. Follow the directions on the label.
Can I burn it like a normal candle?
Yes. Many people light one for scent and soft light, then use the oil later in the evening. Keep it on a heat-safe surface and never leave it burning unattended.
