What's the difference between Elbow Grease Original and H2O formulas?

Original is oil-based, so it lasts longer and doesn't absorb into skin — ideal for extended sessions but not latex-compatible. H2O formulas are water-based gels that rinse clean, work with all condom materials, and still deliver thicker cushioning than standard water-based lubes.

Can I use Elbow Grease with silicone toys?

Yes — water-based H2O formulas are safe for all toy materials including silicone. Oil-based Original is also silicone-safe but may require more thorough cleaning afterward since oil clings to toy surfaces longer.

How much Elbow Grease should I use per session?

Start with a dime-sized amount for vaginal use, nickel-sized for anal. The thick consistency means a little spreads far — you'll use 30-40% less than you would with thinner lubes. Reapply only when you feel friction returning.

Will oil-based Elbow Grease stain my sheets?

It can leave residue on fabric since it doesn't absorb like water-based lubes. Lay down a towel during play or wash sheets promptly with dish soap (breaks down oil better than regular detergent). Water-based H2O versions rinse clean and won't stain.
