Local Sex Shops in Saskatoon
Saskatoon has several physical adult stores for shoppers who prefer to browse in person. Here are the main local options currently operating in the city.
For Lovers Only — Saskatoon
For Lovers Only is one of Western Canada's longest-running adult store chains, operating since 1986. They currently have two locations in Saskatoon and carry a broad range of adult toys, novelties, and accessories. As a franchise operation they stock a wide variety of products at different price points, making them a popular choice for in-person browsing in Saskatoon.
Lil' Devil Adult Store — Saskatoon
Located at 1620 Idylwyld Drive North, Lil' Devil is a locally operated Saskatoon adult store carrying vibrators, dildos, strap-ons, BDSM accessories, and novelty items. They stock brands including Satisfyer, Fleshlight, and PDX. Staff are available in store to assist with product questions.
Positive Passions — Saskatoon
Positive Passions has operated in Saskatoon since 2005 with a focus on sexual wellness and health-focused products. They position themselves as a doctor-recommended resource for intimate wellness products, with an emphasis on education alongside product sales.
Online vs Local Sex Shops in Saskatoon — Full Comparison
Both options have genuine advantages. Here is an honest comparison to help Saskatoon shoppers decide which approach works best for their needs.
Privacy and Discretion
This is where online shopping has a clear advantage for most Saskatoon shoppers. Visiting a physical sex shop in Saskatoon means potentially being seen entering or leaving the store — by neighbours, colleagues, or anyone passing by. For many people this is a significant concern, particularly in a mid-sized city like Saskatoon where social circles overlap.
Shopping online with Dreamy Desire means complete privacy from start to finish. No one sees you browsing, no one sees you at a checkout, and your order arrives in plain, unbranded packaging with confidential billing. Your statement shows a generic company name — not an adult store.
Product Selection
Online stores carry significantly wider selections than any physical Saskatoon sex shop. Dreamy Desire stocks products from over 80 premium brands including We-Vibe, Dame, Lelo, TENGA, Kiiroo, Arcwave, Womanizer, Lovense, Sliquid, and many more — most of which are not available at local Saskatoon adult stores.
Physical stores in Saskatoon are limited by shelf space and typically stock a curated range of mid-tier products. Specialty brands, luxury items, and niche categories are generally only available online.
Pricing
Online stores typically offer better pricing than physical Saskatoon sex shops due to lower overhead costs — no retail space, no in-store staff, no display costs. Dreamy Desire prices all products in CAD with no import surprises, and regularly offers promotional pricing across categories.
Physical stores in Saskatoon may charge higher prices to cover their operating costs, though they occasionally run in-store promotions that can be competitive on popular items.
Convenience
Online shopping wins on convenience for most Saskatoon shoppers. Browse and order any time of day or night, from home, without travel. Standard shipping to Saskatoon typically takes 3 to 9 business days, and orders over $100 ship free within Canada.
Physical stores require travel across Saskatoon, are limited to store hours, and require browsing in person — which some shoppers find uncomfortable or inconvenient.
Touch and Feel Before Buying
This is the one genuine advantage local Saskatoon sex shops have over online shopping. Being able to see and handle a product in person before purchasing gives some shoppers more confidence in their decision, particularly for first-time buyers unsure about size, texture, or firmness.
Dreamy Desire addresses this with detailed product descriptions, dimensions, material specifications, and usage guidance on product listings — plus a 90-day guarantee if a product arrives defective or you receive the wrong item. Most experienced online shoppers find this sufficient, but first-time buyers sometimes prefer the in-person experience.
Body-Safe Materials
Wherever you shop in Saskatoon, it pays to know what a toy is made of. Silicone, ABS plastic, glass and stainless steel are non-porous and easy to clean, while softer materials such as TPE are porous and need more careful cleaning. Dreamy Desire product pages include material details where the manufacturer provides them, so you can check before you buy.
When shopping at any Saskatoon sex shop — online or in person — check the material and care instructions before purchasing, especially for products used on and in the body.
Why Most Saskatoon Shoppers Choose Online
Based on the growth of online adult retail across Canada, the majority of Saskatoon shoppers now choose to buy sex toys online rather than visiting a local store. The primary reasons are consistently privacy, selection, and pricing — in that order.
- Privacy — no in-store encounters, plain packaging, confidential billing
- Selection — access to 80+ premium brands not available locally
- Pricing — lower overhead means more competitive prices than physical Saskatoon stores
- Convenience — shop anytime, with delivery to your door in about 3–9 business days
- Material details — check what a toy is made of before you buy
