Sex Toys Quebec City, Quebec

If there's no shop nearby, or you simply don't want to be seen browsing one, an online adult store takes the awkwardness out of buying sex toys in Quebec City. You can compare models late at night, read the fine print twice and change your mind about what's in your cart as often as you like.

A few other reasons people in the capital order from us:

• More than 80 brands, including LELO, We-Vibe, Womanizer, Aneros, Sliquid and Uberlube
• Measurements and materials listed on every product page
• Prices in Canadian dollars, with no duties or brokerage fees
• A card statement that reads Vamoson Inc., our parent company, rather than a store name

Inside the walls of Old Quebec and in neighbourhoods like Saint-Jean-Baptiste and Montcalm, many homes are flats in older buildings with a single street door and a shared stairwell. In Limoilou and Saint-Roch, you'll find plenty of walk-ups with exterior stairs. Parcels left in those spaces are visible to neighbours, which is why every order comes in a plain box with no product names or branding.

Winter brings its own planning. Heavy snowfalls can slow carriers across eastern Quebec, so if you're shopping for an anniversary or Valentine's Day, order earlier than seems necessary and keep an eye on the tracking link. A toy that has sat in a cold vestibule should be brought up to room temperature before you charge it. If your entrance is buried under a snowbank half the winter, a work address or a friend's place may be the easier option.

It's easy to fall for a product photo and then find the toy is bigger, louder or less waterproof than you pictured. On each listing, take a moment to compare the insertable length and width with something you already know. Look for non-porous materials such as body-safe silicone, glass or stainless steel, since they're the easiest to clean. Check whether the toy charges by USB or takes batteries, and how long a charge lasts. Confirm whether it's fully waterproof or only splash-resistant before you take it into the bath. And if your bedroom shares a wall with someone else's, a listed decibel level is worth reading.

A wand massager is a popular first purchase for people who want strong, external vibration, and our wand vibrator guide compares the options. Any question we haven't answered can go to support@dreamydesire.com.

Students at Université Laval in Sainte-Foy, along with anyone else, can enter code STUD20 for 20% off at checkout. No student ID or school email is needed; the student discount page explains how it works. Residence rooms and shared apartments call for something small and quiet, like a bullet vibrator.

For couples, a vibrating cock ring or one of our couples' vibrators is an easy shared starting point, and the couples' toys guide goes into more detail. Brand new to adult toys?
