b-Vibe Advanced 8-Inch Glass Anal Dilator

The b-Vibe Advanced 8" Glass Anal Dilator is the larger of the two Advanced glass sizes we carry from b-Vibe, an anal dilator for people who have already worked through smaller sizes and want a longer, firmer next step. It's made from borosilicate glass, a hard, smooth material that also lets you play with temperature.

What glass feels like

Glass doesn't flex. Where a silicone toy softens and bends as it goes in, glass keeps its exact shape, so you feel precise, even pressure along its length. With lube, the surface is extremely slick, with none of the slight drag silicone can have. People who like firm toys often prefer glass for this reason. Those who want some give will be more comfortable with a dual-density silicone toy.

Temperature play

Because glass holds heat and cold, you can change how it feels before you start. Rest it in a bowl of warm (not hot) tap water for a few minutes for a soothing feel, or put it in the fridge for a crisp, cool contrast. Never use boiling water or the freezer, and always test the temperature against your inner wrist before it touches anywhere sensitive.

Where it fits in the range

The "Advanced" name is a guide: this is a size to move up to, not a starting point. If you're working through sizes, try the intermediate glass set or the Advanced 7.5" dilator first. Move on only when the previous size feels easy, and take your time between steps.

Using it

Warm up first with fingers or a smaller toy. Use plenty of lube on both the dilator and your body; glass works with water-based lube, and a thicker formula lasts longer. Insert slowly while breathing out, and stop if you feel sharp discomfort.

Care

Wash it in warm, soapy water after each use and dry it with a soft cloth. Before every session, check the surface for chips or cracks, and stop using it if you find any. Store it wrapped in a soft pouch, away from hard objects that could knock against it, and avoid dropping it on tile.
