The Liberator Bondi Board XL with Cuffs is a full-length bondage board: a padded, faux leather platform six feet long with 16 reinforced attachment points and a set of restraints in the box. Lay it flat and a partner can be spread out and fastened at wrists, thighs and ankles; fold it in three and it becomes a low bench, or a neat block that slides into a closet. It's the piece for couples who already know they like restraint and want something purpose-built rather than improvised on a bed frame.

How the trifold design works

The board is made in three hinged sections. Opened out, it measures 72 × 22 × 4 in, long enough for most adults to lie at full length with arms above the head. Folded, the sections stack into a compact, low seat, which Liberator suggests as a waiting bench for a submissive partner during a scene. The same fold is how it stores: zip it into the included black nylon carry case and it goes into a wardrobe, under a bed or into the car.

Restraints and attachment points

Sixteen reinforced points run around the edges, so there are anchor options for every limb and every body size. The kit includes cuffs for wrists, ankles and thighs, plus tethers and a blindfold. Thigh cuffs are the detail that sets this apart: fastened to the sides, they hold the legs open without the strain that comes from pulling only at the ankles. Start with fewer points than you think you need, check that hands and feet stay warm and pink, and keep the clips where the free partner can release them in seconds.

Bondage board or bed?

A mattress gives way under movement and offers nothing to clip to unless you add under-bed straps. The Bondi is firm high-density foam under a smooth faux leather cover, so the restrained partner stays where you put them and the anchor points never move. Because it sits on the floor, the free partner can kneel or walk all the way around, which makes sensation play and teasing much easier to set up.

XL or the original Bondi?

We also carry the original Liberator Bondi Bondage Board, which lays out wider and shorter (24 × 48 × 3 in flat). The XL is the longer, narrower platform, better for lying full length and for taller partners. For a different style of setup, the Bondi Portable Playscape is worth a look too.

Comfort and care

The faux leather feels smooth on bare skin and wipes clean with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. Dry it straight after, and keep it away from heaters and strong sun, which can dry out synthetic leather over time. At 25 lb it's solid enough not to shift during play but still manageable for one person to fold and carry. Fold it with the cover facing inward when packing it away, so buckles and clips don't press marks into the surface.

Helpful Information

Frequently Asked Questions

Helpful answers about Liberator Bondi Board XL with Cuffs.

What is a bondage board?

It's a padded platform with built-in anchor points, so a partner can lie on it and be cuffed in place without tying anything to furniture. The Bondi XL adds a fold-away design and comes with cuffs, tethers and a blindfold.

How long is the Bondi Board XL when open?

It lies flat at 72 inches long, 22 inches wide and 4 inches high. That's long enough for most adults to stretch out with arms overhead. Taller partners may want to keep the arms bent or anchor the wrists to the side points.

Which BDSM cuffs come with it?

Cuffs for wrists, ankles and thighs, along with tethers that connect them to the board and a blindfold. If you want different styles, Liberator's own cuffs and most clip-on restraints will attach to the reinforced points.

Is the Bondi XL suitable for beginners?

Yes, if you build up gradually. Begin with wrists only and no blindfold, keep sessions short and check in often. The board itself is comfortable to lie on, so it's also fine for plain massage or teasing with no restraints at all.

Can I use the Bondi XL on a bed?

You can, but it works better on the floor, where the base is firm and you can move freely around it. On a soft mattress the board can tilt when someone pulls against a tether.

How do I store and transport it?

Fold the three sections together and zip them into the included nylon case. It fits into most wardrobes standing up, and the plain black case doesn't give away what's inside if it goes in a car boot.
