Tenga Egg Lotion is the water based lubricant that comes in the little sachets inside every Tenga Egg, sold here on its own in an egg-shaped 65 ml bottle. Tenga says it has the same thickness as the sachet lube, which isn't available anywhere else, so if you like how an Egg feels, this lets you get that same glide whenever you want, in whatever amount you want.
The single sachet in each Egg is enough for a short session, but many people want more. Topping up with a different lube can change the feel: thinner lubes run off the stretchy sleeve, and thicker ones can feel heavy. Egg Lotion matches what Tenga designed the Eggs around, so adding more simply gives you more of the same. It also works with Tenga's Flip and 3D strokers, and with hands-only masturbation.
It's a smooth, slippery gel that stays put rather than running. Tenga describes it as non-sticky, and because it has no added colours or scent, there's nothing to clash with a partner's taste or a toy's smell. Being water-based, it rinses off skin and toys with plain warm water, and it doesn't stain sheets the way oil-based lubes can.
Peel off the wrapping, open the cap on the top of the egg and squeeze a few drops onto your fingertips. Tenga suggests two to three drops to start, applied to wherever you want them, then more as needed. With an Egg sleeve, put some inside the sleeve and some around the opening. Water-based lube slowly dries as you go; if it starts to feel tacky, a few drops of water revive it before you add more.
Water-based lube is the safe default for Tenga's TPE sleeves and for silicone toys, and it can be used with latex condoms. It's equally suitable for solo use or with a partner. Too little lube is the most common reason a stroker feels uncomfortable, and too much makes it hard to hold. With an Egg, start with the sachet plus a few drops of Egg Lotion, and add more only when the sleeve starts to drag. With a hand, a coin-sized amount is plenty to begin with. Because the lotion is fairly thick, a little spreads further than a thin, watery lube, so the bottle tends to last longer than its size suggests.
