Feel My Power x Kelly Malka is LE Wand's special-edition take on its original rechargeable wand vibrator, wrapped in artwork by Los Angeles illustrator Kelly Malka. The artwork and the edition

LE Wand releases its Feel My Power editions around International Women's Day, each with an artist whose work speaks to the brand's values. Kelly Malka is known for bold, colourful illustration that deals with mental wellbeing, gender equality and wider social issues, and her design turns the handle into something you might happily leave out on a dresser. Apart from the artwork, it's the OG LE Wand inside, so performance, attachments and care are the same.

How the vibration feels

The 62 mm silicone head spreads vibration over a broad area, so it feels deep and rumbly rather than buzzy or pinpoint. That makes it well suited to external use: on the vulva and clitoris, over underwear for a softer feel, or on the shaft and perineum. Ten intensity levels give a wide range, from a gentle hum to strong, and twenty patterns add pulses and waves. Three buttons handle power, intensity and patterns. The neck flexes, so the head stays in contact when you shift position, and the long handle means less reaching.

Using a wand vibrator well

Start on the lowest setting and through a layer of fabric if you're new to wands; the power surprises a lot of first-time users. A little water-based lube on the head makes the silicone glide. For partnered sex, it's easy to hold against the clitoris during penetration, especially in positions with a little space between bodies, such as spooning or rear entry. It also works as a regular massager for shoulders and legs, which many owners use it for between other sessions.

Charging, noise and care

The 2200 mAh battery charges in about three hours and runs for up to three hours, so it doesn't die mid-session. LE Wand lists it at under 68 dB, about the level of an ordinary conversation, so it's not silent but it won't rattle the furniture. Wipe the silicone head with warm water and mild soap or a toy cleaner before the first use and after every session. LE Wand doesn't list a waterproof rating for this model, so keep it away from the bath and never rinse the handle under the tap.
