Gender-X Sweet Embrace RC Strap On

The Gender X Sweet Embrace is a vibrating strap-on: a curved silicone shaft with a crowned head that slips into a suede and pleather harness and runs from a wireless remote. What sets it apart is that it has two motors controlled separately, one in the head and one in the base, so the partner receiving gets vibration at the tip while the wearer feels the base buzzing against them.

Two motors, two sensations

Each motor has 10 speeds and functions of its own. You can run the head motor alone for focused internal sensation, the base motor alone so the wearer gets most of the feeling, or both together at different levels. The shaft has a wavy, textured surface and a gentle curve, and it's flexible enough to move with your body rather than feeling like a rigid rod. Buttons on both the toy and the remote are a simple two-button layout, and LED lights show when they're active, which helps in a dim room.

Size and fit

The shaft is about 7 inches tall, with 6 inches of insertable length and a width of roughly 1.4 inches. That's a full but not extreme size, larger than most beginner strap-ons. The harness waist stretches from 28 to 50 inches and closes with a Velcro belt, so it's quick to put on and take off, and the leg straps adjust from 20 to 30 inches. Fasten the waist first, sit the base so it presses flat over the pubic bone, then tighten the leg straps to stop the shaft from tilting downward during thrusting.

Using the remote

The remote is what makes this a hands-free toy. The wearer can keep both hands on their partner, while the partner receiving holds the remote and decides exactly when and how strongly each motor runs. It's also handy solo: some people wear the harness for grinding play and use the remote to tease themselves. The remote takes one AAA battery, which isn't included, so buy one before the toy arrives.

Water and charging

The shaft is waterproof and fully submersible, and it charges through the USB cable in the box. The harness is a different story: suede and pleather don't like being soaked, so if you want to play in the shower or bath, take the shaft out and use it on its own in the water. No run time is listed, so charge it fully before you plan a session.

Lube and care

The shaft and remote casing are silicone, so stick to a water-based lube. Wash the shaft with warm water and mild soap or a toy cleaner, rinse well, and air-dry it before it goes back in the harness. Spot-clean the harness with a damp cloth and let it dry flat, away from heat. The materials are phthalate-free and latex-free.
