Liberator Fascinator Mini Throw - Merlot Microvelvet

The Mini is the smallest size of the Liberator Fascinator Throw, a sex blanket built to sit between you and anything you'd rather keep dry. At 36 × 26 inches, it's roughly the area under your hips and lower back, so you can slide it into place on the bed, a couch cushion or a car seat without making a production of it. The deep merlot microvelvet looks like a soft throw, not a piece of equipment.

What's inside the throw

The top is plush microvelvet in 100% polyester, soft to lie on and warm against bare skin. Under it is a specially lined layer that soaks up lube, massage oil and other fluids, and beneath that an inner moisture barrier keeps them from reaching the mattress or upholstery. The result is a blanket that feels like an ordinary throw but behaves more like a protective pad.

Where the Mini size works

Think of the Mini as a targeted cover rather than a full blanket. It's the right size to slip under hips during oral sex, to protect a chair or sofa cushion, to put down before using lube-heavy toys, or to keep on a nightstand drawer as a mat for wet toys. Lay it over a wedge or ramp before you start, and the microvelvet keeps the surface soft while the barrier stops lube or massage oil from reaching the cushion cover. On a couch, tuck one edge between the seat cushions so it stays in place. On a car seat or outdoors, keep the velvet side up and the barrier side down.

Washing and first use

Machine wash it cold and tumble dry on low. Liberator recommends washing it once or twice before you use it for the first time, so the fabric absorbs as well as it should. After that, wash it after every messy session and let it come out of the dryer fully dry before folding it away, so it's ready for next time. Because it goes straight in the machine, there's no scrubbing or special cleaner involved, which is a large part of its appeal over towels that need soaking.

Choosing a colour
