The Liberator Wanda is a magic wand mount: a shaped foam cushion that holds a Magic Wand in place so you can straddle it, ride it or lie against it with your hands free. Why a mount makes a difference

A full-size wand is heavy, and holding it at the right angle through a long session gets tiring. Wanda locks the wand into a tapered, undulating body that cups yours. The vibrating head sits where your body meets the cushion, so you control pressure by shifting your weight rather than pushing with your wrist. Grinding, rocking and simply resting all become possible, and the vibration stays exactly where you want it.

Positions with the magic wand mount

Straddling is the obvious start: the narrow body is easy to sit astride, and you can lean forward for lighter contact or sit back for more. Lying face down over it lets the wand rest against you while the cushion supports your hips, which works for solo play and for doggy with a partner behind. Wanda also adds height, so it can lift the hips when you lie back or bring you to a comfortable level for standing positions at the edge of the bed. Which wands fit

Liberator shaped Wanda around the original Magic Wand and says it also takes other standard-sized wands. The Magic Wand Plus is a natural match. Compact or travel wands with smaller heads and handles may not sit as snugly, so compare yours with a full-size Magic Wand before you buy. The wand itself is sold separately.

Setting it up

Put Wanda on a firm, flat surface such as the bed or the floor. If your wand plugs in, run the cord away from where you'll kneel or lie so it doesn't tangle. Fit the wand into the mount so the head sits where your body will rest, and give it a gentle wiggle to check it feels steady. Switch it on at the lowest setting before you climb on, then settle your weight gradually and slide forward or back a little until the head lands where you want it.

Cover and care

The Velvish cover is a plush faux-velvet made from 100% polyester. It comes off for machine washing, and underneath is a moisture-proof polyester liner that keeps fluids and lube out of the polyurethane foam. Wash the cover after messy sessions and let it dry before refitting. If you use lots of lube, a small towel over the cover around the wand head saves a wash. Switch the wand off and take it out of the mount between sessions.

Wanda or Axis?

Liberator also makes the Axis toy mount for the Magic Wand. Wanda is the petite one, with a narrow body made for straddling and a small footprint that suits smaller rooms. If you mostly use your wand astride and grinding, Wanda is a strong fit; if you're unsure, think about whether you prefer to sit on your wand or lie against it, and compare the two shapes.
