Danny has four conductive zones, placed so that both the inside and the external arm carry current. At low settings most people describe a faint fizz or tickle under the skin. Turn it up and the pulses start to tap and squeeze, and nearby muscles may tense in rhythm with the program. That sensation is very different from a buzzing motor, which is why Mystim lets you run the two separately. Two motors handle the vibration, and the pulses come through the conductive surfaces only when they are in direct contact with skin.
Begin with vibration only. Use a generous layer of water-based lube, slide the shaft in slowly and adjust the angle until the outer arm sits where you want it. Once that feels comfortable, switch the e-stim on at the lowest of its ten levels and leave it there for a few minutes before stepping up. Programs that build in waves can take a few seconds to reach full strength, so wait before pressing the button again. If anything stings or feels sharp, drop the level, add lube, or reposition; good contact is what keeps the current spread evenly.
One program alternates strong pulses with rest phases. During the pauses it can seem as if the toy has stopped, which is normal.
At 27 cm overall with a shaft that widens from about 3.5 to 4.3 cm, Danny is a full-sized toy, not a slim starter. The battery is rechargeable through the included USB charging cable. Mystim describes the body as watertight, so it can be rinsed, but let it dry fully before you connect the charger. After each session wash it with warm water and mild soap, then wipe the conductive areas carefully so no dried lube is left on them, because residue can make the pulses feel patchy next time. Stick to water-based lubricant; it helps conductivity and won't react with the silicone surface.
