The Tantus Rumble Dorado Head is a silicone vibrator attachment with a single flexible fin that flicks from side to side when the motor runs. It slips onto the Tantus Rumble massager and turns its broad vibration into a fluttering, targeted touch for the clitoris, nipples and other sensitive spots. It needs the Rumble to work; on its own it's simply a soft silicone cap.

What the fin actually does

Most massager heads just pass vibration through a rounded surface. The Dorado adds movement. Its fin stands about 2.4 inches tall and is thin enough to wobble, so as the Rumble vibrates, the fin swishes back and forth against your skin. That flicker feels more like a quick, light fingertip than a steady buzz, and it changes character as you switch the Rumble's vibration pattern. Slower pulses make the fin sway; faster settings turn it into a rapid flutter.

Where and how to use it

Begin with the fin resting lightly on the outer vulva rather than directly on the clitoris, then move closer as arousal builds. Tilting the head changes a lot: held upright, the fin's edge gives a narrow, flicking line of contact; laid flatter, the broader base carries more of the vibration. On nipples, a light touch is usually plenty. Because the head is only about 2.4 inches across, it tucks between bodies during partnered sex, and it's easy to trace along the inner thighs as part of foreplay.

Fitting it to the Rumble

Line the opening of the Dorado up with the head of your Rumble and press until it's fully seated. To remove it, pull it straight off. Tantus made it for the Rumble only, so it won't fit a Magic Wand, Doxy or other brands' heads. If you don't own the base yet, you'll need the Tantus Rumble massager first. With the Dorado on, the Rumble keeps its seven vibration settings and its light, easy grip.

Choosing a vibrator attachment for the Rumble

Each Rumble head changes the shape of the sensation, and the Dorado is the one for fluttering, pinpoint play. The Spoon Head and the Convertible Head are the other attachments in the range, each with its own shape, if you'd like to vary things. Swapping heads mid-session takes seconds, so plenty of people keep two and alternate between them.

Lube and care

Use a water-based lube with the Dorado. Silicone lube isn't recommended on silicone surfaces, and water-based formulas also rinse out of the fin's thin edges more easily. After each session, pull the head off the Rumble and wash it on its own in warm water with mild soap or a toy cleaner. Because the attachment has no electronics, you can wash it all over. Let it air-dry fully before refitting, and keep it in a pouch so the silicone doesn't collect lint in your drawer.

Helpful Information

Frequently Asked Questions

Helpful answers about Tantus Rumble Dorado Head Attachment.

Does the Dorado work without the Rumble?

No. It has no motor of its own; it's a silicone head that moves when the Rumble vibrates underneath it. You'll need the Tantus Rumble massager to use it, and it doesn't fit other brands' wands or massagers.

Will it fit my Magic Wand or another massager?

No. Tantus shaped it for the Rumble's head only, so it won't seat properly on a Magic Wand, Doxy or similar. For those, look for attachments made by the same brand as your wand, since fittings differ from one maker to the next.

Is the fin good for clitoral stimulation?

That's where most people use it. The fluttering edge gives quick, light flicks rather than a deep rumble, which suits anyone who finds direct vibration too strong. Start a little off to one side and move closer as arousal builds.

Which lube can I use with this vibrator attachment?

Stick with a water-based lube. It keeps the silicone in good condition and washes off the thin fin easily. A few drops is enough to stop any drag on sensitive skin; you don't need to coat the whole head.

How do I clean the Dorado?

Take it off the Rumble and wash it separately in warm, soapy water or with a toy cleaner, paying attention to the base of the fin where lube collects. It has no electronics, so you can rinse it all over. Air-dry it completely before putting it back on.

Can I use it in the shower?

The attachment itself is solid silicone, so water won't hurt it. Whether the whole setup can go in the shower depends on the Rumble massager's own water rating, so check that before getting the base wet.

Can couples use the Dorado together?

Yes. The small head fits between bodies during sex, and a partner can hold the Rumble and trace the fin over nipples, inner thighs or the clitoris during foreplay. At about 1.5 oz it adds almost no weight to the massager.
