A storefront in Calgary or an order from home?

Calgary is a big city, and a search for a sex shop in Calgary will turn up in-person adult stores. If you like to feel the weight of a toy, compare textures side by side or talk something through with staff, a visit is a good choice and we'd never talk you out of it.

Ordering from an online adult store works differently, and many Calgarians prefer it for a few reasons:

Time to compare: read specifications at your own pace instead of deciding at a counter
Range: more than 80 brands, from LELO and We-Vibe to Lovense, Tenga and Aneros
No one you know at the till: the parcel is plain and the charge on your card reads Vamoson Inc.
Canadian prices: everything is listed in Canadian dollars, and nothing crosses a border

Partners on rotation, partners on the road

Plenty of Calgary households have one person who travels for work, whether that's a camp rotation up north, site visits for an energy company or a run of conferences. Distance doesn't have to mean putting things on pause.

App-controlled toys from brands such as Lovense and We-Vibe pair with a phone app, and a partner can control them over the internet from wherever they've landed. Before you rely on one, test it together at home, check that both phones run the app, and make sure the toy is charged before a call. For the partner who's away, a compact, rechargeable toy with a travel lock packs into a carry-on without fuss. Bring a small bottle of water-based lube and you have a kit that fits in a toiletry bag.

Reading a listing before you buy

Product photos are styled to look good, so the useful information sits further down the page. A few things deserve a second look:

Insertable dimensions: the part that's actually used, not the handle
What it's made of: silicone, glass and stainless steel are non-porous and simple to clean
How it's powered: USB or magnetic charging, or replaceable batteries
Water resistance: fully waterproof versus splash-resistant only
Sound: worth checking if you live in an apartment or share a wall with roommates

It also helps to think about how you'll use a toy. A slim vibrator you can slip into a nightstand drawer suits a shared apartment, while a larger wand makes more sense if you have a bit of privacy and storage space. Reading the listing with that in mind narrows a long list down to the few toys that actually fit your life.

First toys, couples and students in Calgary

If this is your first time shopping for sex toys in Calgary or anywhere else, keep it simple: a bullet vibrator or something from our beginner-friendly collection gives you a feel for what you like without a lot of buttons. Our guide to choosing your first sex toy covers the basics.

Couples often start with a vibrating ring or a wearable vibrator from our couples' vibrators, and our couples' toys guide has more ideas. Curious about something new? Prostate massagers and cock rings are common next steps.

Calgary quadrants and surrounding towns we deliver to

We ship to every quadrant of Calgary, NW, NE, SW and SE alike. That covers inner-city areas such as the Beltline, Mission, Kensington, Bridgeland and Inglewood, and newer communities like Tuscany, Evanston, Saddle Ridge, Mahogany and Seton. Outside city limits, we deliver to Airdrie, Cochrane, Chestermere, Okotoks, Strathmore and High River.

Wherever you live, buying sex toys in Calgary online works the same way: one checkout, one plain box and one tracking link. A parcel to a townhouse in the deep south of the city is handled exactly like one to a downtown apartment.

Living in a condo tower with a concierge or a shared parcel room? Pick a delivery address where you're comfortable collecting an unmarked box, or use your workplace if that's easier.
