Cleaning and storing

Wash the steel by hand in warm, soapy water with the tail held clear, rinse, and dry well. Never soak or machine-wash the fur. Brush the dry tail gently to keep the red fibres soft, and store it somewhere it won't be crushed. It ships bulk-packed, without a box.
