Bright, playful and unmistakably not from nature, the Pink Elephant Real Fox Tail Small in teal is for anyone who wants a tail that turns heads. It's a fox tail butt plug with a 19-inch teal tail on a small stainless steel plug; the plug is listed as 28 mm (1.10 in) at its widest and 72 mm (2.83 in) long. The small plug keeps it easy to wear, so the colour can do the talking.

Who the small size suits

The small plug is the gentler of the two sizes in the Real Fox Tail line. It's a good match if you're new to plugs, if you've used a slim silicone plug and want to try steel, or if you plan to wear the tail for a long evening. People who already enjoy medium plugs may find it a little light and could prefer the 40 mm large plugs instead.

It also works well as a shared toy for couples exploring role-play for the first time. The small plug takes the pressure off the physical side, so you can both focus on the look, the character and the fun of dressing up together, rather than on managing a big stretch.

Moving around in a fox tail butt plug

A 19-inch tail swings, brushes against furniture and catches on chairs, so give yourself a few minutes to get used to it. Walk normally; the steel plug's weight helps it stay seated. When sitting, shift forward slightly and sweep the tail to one side. Kneeling and lying on your front are the most comfortable positions for long wear. If the plug starts to feel like it's slipping, stop, add a little more lube and reinsert rather than pushing it back while standing.

Lube and fur don't mix

The easiest way to keep the teal fur looking bright is to keep lube off it completely. Fold the tail back over your hand or have a partner hold it while you lube and insert the plug. Choose a water-based lube, since it blots out of fur with a damp cloth; silicone and oil-based lubes cling and can leave the fur clumped and greasy.

Teal and the rest of the palette

Teal looks great with black, silver, white and neon outfits, and it suits mermaid-meets-fox fantasy looks, rave wear and colourful cosplay. If you like bold colours but want something cooler, the small blue tail uses the same plug. For a bigger plug in a bright shade, the large purple pairs a vivid tail with the 40 mm plug.

Cleaning and keeping it fluffy

Wash only the steel plug, under warm water with a mild soap, while holding the tail up and out of the stream. Dry the plug thoroughly. Let the fur breathe between uses: store it hanging or loosely boxed, away from heat and damp, and finger-comb it before your next wear. A cotton bag lets air reach the fur and keeps dust off; plastic bags can trap moisture and leave it smelling stale.

Helpful Information

Frequently Asked Questions

Helpful answers about Pink Elephant Real Fox Tail Butt Plug – Small – Teal.

Is the teal tail plug suitable for long wear?

The small 28 mm plug is the more comfortable choice for long sessions. Start with 20 to 30 minutes, reapply lube when needed and take breaks. Remove it if you notice aching, numbness or pinching.

Is the teal fur dyed real fur or synthetic?

Pink Elephant sells it as part of the Real Fox Tail line but gives no fibre content or sourcing details, so we can't confirm what it's made of. Ask us before ordering if you need a definite answer.

Can I put a fox tail butt plug in the bath or shower?

Not the whole thing. Water would soak and mat the fur. Remove the plug before you bathe, then wash just the steel part by hand while holding the tail clear of the water.

Will the bright colour fade?

Sunlight and repeated washing are the main things that dull coloured fur. Store it out of direct light and avoid wetting it. The supplier gives no colour-fastness information, so treat it gently.

Which plug size should I choose if I'm unsure?

Start small. The 28 mm plug is easier to wear for long periods and suits newcomers. You can always move up to a 40 mm large tail later once you know you like the fuller feeling.

Can I use a stainless steel plug if I have a nickel sensitivity?

Pink Elephant doesn't publish the steel grade for this plug or a nickel-free claim. Stainless steel generally contains some nickel, so if you react to it, check with us before ordering or choose a non-metal plug.
