This is the Queen size of the Be Wicked Run the World, a two-piece garter set with an off-shoulder top and stockings that have the garters knitted right in. It's the same patterned-knit design as the standard version, cut larger for curvier bodies. If one-size stockings usually roll down or dig in at the thigh, the Queen size is the one to try.

Two pieces, no clips to chase

The set is an off-shoulder top and a pair of stockings joined to their garters. Since the garters are attached, you skip the separate belt and the clips that come undone when you sit down. The off-shoulder neckline shows the shoulders while the top still gives some coverage through the body. A thong isn't part of the set, so bring your own favourite.

A plus size garter set that stays put

Garters that are part of the stocking hold their position better than clip-on straps on a wider hip, because there's nothing to slide or unhook. Still, get the order right: stockings and garters first, settled smoothly over the hips, then your underwear, then the top. Sit down to put the stockings on, and roll each leg up evenly so the pattern lines up.

Looking after the knit

Hand-wash only, in cold water with a gentle detergent. Skip bleach, the dryer, the iron and dry-cleaning. Squeeze out the water with a towel instead of wringing, and lay it flat to dry. Keep it in its box between wears so the knit doesn't catch on zips or hooks in your drawer.
