Read this before you use any e-stim kit

E-stim is safe only below the waist. Never place electrodes on or across the chest, head or neck, and never let current cross the heart. Don't use it if you have a pacemaker or another implanted electronic device, if you're pregnant, or if you have a heart condition or epilepsy. Don't use it while driving, in water, or after alcohol. Start at the lowest level every time and turn the power off before connecting or moving attachments. If anything burns, stings sharply or goes numb, stop.

How the kit works

Each attachment is wired to the powerbox, so current runs through the sound and the plug together. XR describes five pulse patterns and seven intensity levels, giving 35 combinations. Because the current travels between two points, you feel it across the area in between rather than at a single spot. Low settings feel like tapping or tingling; higher ones contract the muscles rhythmically.

The sound and the plug

The urethral sound is soft silicone, 0.3 inches wide with 7.1 inches insertable. Being flexible, it follows the curve of the urethra more easily than a rigid metal rod. Sounding needs care: wash your hands, clean the sound thoroughly, use a sterile lubricant and insert it slowly without ever forcing it. If you've never sounded before, practise with a non-electric sound first.

The anal plug starts at 1.4 inches wide and 4.7 inches insertable when deflated, and expands up to 4 inches across and 6.3 inches insertable at full inflation. Insert it deflated, then add a pump or two at a time. Most people never need anything close to full size.

Who it suits, and who should look elsewhere

The kit suits experienced e-stim users who want to combine internal stimulation in two places. Charging, lube and cleaning

Charge the powerbox fully before first use. XR calls for generous water-based lube; for the sound, choose a sterile water-based lubricant. Zeus also sells an electrosex gel made for e-stim play. After use, wipe the attachments with toy cleaner and a damp cloth. Wipe the powerbox with a damp cloth only and never submerge it. Air-dry everything and store it cool and dry, apart from other toys.
